A big welcome to all our new visitors at UCG, thanks for taking the time to check out the site. Finally we are ready to launch and I am looking forward to hearing your feedback and responses.
UCG came about due to my online shopping hobby ( or addiction as my partner likes to call it ) and I realized that other people ( women in particular ) would probably like to share my joy. I initally started shopping online because I couldnt find clothing I liked where I lived. I have spent literally hours looking at sites and the more I look the more I find. I love the huge variety of clothing and designers available online and I can shop at my own leisure and compare items for as long as I like. I also love the fact that every website generally has a SALE button to check out as well.
Chickdowntown.com is one of my favourite sites and I recommend you check it out. Amy Reed the owner certainly knows her customers and has a fantastic range of designer clothing. A few other mentionable sites are Modcloth.com and Freez.com which also have great designs at affordable prices. But dont limit yourself to just these three, you should check out all 10 sites.

Morning to all UCG fans,
Just wanted to let you know about a great charity that I help in Phuket called the Soi Dog Foundation. I started working with them in Feb 2007 initally at the shelter and now organise all the fundraising events in Phuket. On Sunday just gone we had our most recent fundraiser "Les Anges Gourmet Brunch and Sashiko Fashion Show"...we raised approximately 335,000 baht and had a great time doing it.
Highlights of the day included the Sashiko Fashion show ( Venera Tabikan ), Peter from Les Anges as a Mermaid ( or Merman? ) and Gary the best auctioneer in Phuket who raised 105,000 baht with a soft toy dog...he also had to jump into the Royal Phuket Marina which got a huge round of applause. A great day had by all I would like to thank everyone that contributed to the event and all the lovely guests.

High season is definately coming in Phuket..The beaches are beautiful and the beach chairs are out. I hear that numbers are up this high season for hotel bookings which is a very good thing for Phuket. I love the weather this time of the year and the energy that tourists bring to our island.
